St. Joseph River Fishing
When fishing on the St. Joseph River, you will be in the 24′ Headhunter. We typically fish from an anchored position. In the river, we fish for Steelhead, King Salmon, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Walleye and Catfish.
When fishing for King Salmon, we typically float fish skein spawn or cast crankbaits.
When fishing for Walleye, we normally bounce jigheads with twisters or slipsinker rigs with minnows.
With Catfish we will bottom fish with a variety of live and dead bait.
Regardless of species or season, I will ‘guide’ you and offer encouragement in all of these techniques. Think of me as your fishing coach. If you prefer a more laid back approach, I can run all the rods while you socialize with friends or business clients. My number 1 goal is you having a great time!! All retained fish are custom cleaned and packaged at the conclusion of your trip.
Pere Marquette River Fishing
When fishing on the Pere Marquette River, you will be in the 17' AlumaWeld Xpress. We typically fish from an anchored position. In the river, we fish for King Salmon during the months of August and September. When fishing for King Salmon, we typically float fish skein spawn or cast crankbaits. Think of me as your fishing coach. If you prefer a more laid-back approach, I can run all the rods while you socialize with friends or business clients. My number 1 goal is you having a great time!! All retained fish are custom-cleaned and packaged at the conclusion of your trip.
Inland Fishing
Inland fishing tours are available from both the St. Joseph River and Pere Marquette River locations. Commonly targeted species would be smallmouth bass and panfish. Tours can be arranged for one or two people. Contact Captain Tim for more details.
