When fishing on the St Joseph River, you will be in the 24' Headhunter. We typically fish from an anchored position. In the river, we fish for Steelhead, King Salmon, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Walleye and Catfish.

When fishing for Steelhead and King Salmon, we typically anchor upstream from the fish and back-bounce, 'walk' Salmon/Steelhead roe or drop-back wobbling crankbaits.

When fishing for Walleye, we normally bounce jigheads with twisters or slipsinker rigs with minnows.

With Catfish we will bottom fish with a variety of live and dead baits.

Regardless of species or season, I will 'guide' you and offer encouragement in all of these techniques. Think of me as your fishing coach. If you prefer a more laid back approach, I can run all the rods while you socialize with friends or business clients. My number 1 goal is you having a great time!! All retained fish are custom cleaned and packaged at the conclusion of your trip.
